Isabel Waiti-Mulholland was only recently discovered by Huia Publishers with several manuscripts gathering dust in her drawer. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Maori, Drama and Cultural Heritage and Museums, and her debut novel, At the Heart of Hiruharama, was published by Huia Publishers in 2006.
