Chris Gurney is an exciting new talent from Auckland. Chris was inspired to write this Kiwi version of Cinderella by Yvonne Morrison's A Kiwi Night Before Christmas, which she had bought to send to relatives overseas. Chris is home-based, looking after her disabled daughter - the Princess Nicole to whom the story's dedicated. Ross Kinnaird was terrible at maths but loved to draw pictures from an early age. He was lucky enough to get encouragement from tutors and fellow students at art school but he was 18 before he took up drawing professionally.
